BIBLE FAMILY CAMP

The Seventh-day Adventist of Thailand teachers and administrators convened at Mork Fah Waterfall, Chiangmai, on December 23-25, 2022, for the Family Bible Camp. A total of 70 people, including administrators, teachers, and family members from Ekamai International School, participated in the 3-day event facilitated by Thailand Adventist Mission Education Department under Mr. Jarun Damrongkiattiyot.
Among the speakers focusing on the Life and Teaching of Jesus were Dr. Surapee Sorajjakool, SEUM Education Director, Ps. Niratisai Aipan, TAM President, Ps. Cris Tawmonggood, TAM Executive Secretary, and Ps. Apisit Purinantawong, TAM Youth and Stewardship Director.
“The family camp in Chiangmai was thrilling. I treasure the opportunity to mingle with colleagues from other schools and to share experiences, shared Ms. Erica Mateus, a Grade 2 Teacher. The lectures and workshops about The Life and Teachings of Jesus were interactive and practical from Friday night to Saturday morning. Besides the new friendships and knowledge we attained, I liked the food and enjoyed the extra activities we participated in throughout the weekend. Thank you to everyone that contributed to making the camp a success,” she added.
“It was a memorable experience. The food was yummy, the waterfall was beautiful, and I loved how the teacher separated the seminar between a lecture and practical exercises in groups, making meeting new people and interacting with each other easier. All the speakers were knowledgeable about their subject. I could clearly understand how Jesus taught in the past and what I needed to improve,” Kindergarten 1 Teacher Ms. Mariane Soares Ferreira quipped.
Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22:37–39
We praise God for the messages we learned and the opportunity of being together with more than 300 educators and family members from different schools under the Thailand Adventist Mission.
