Annually before Ekamai International School opens its doors to new and returning students to welcome a new school year, it prepares foremost the faculty and staff who will be in the frontline of service.
This school year, 2022-2023, teachers and staff gathered daily for five days to be empowered and inspired to serve through encouraging messages and counsel from invited speakers.
The pre-session also served as professional upgrade days through the workshops and pieces of training prepared for new and experienced employees. During these sessions, new family members are welcomed and introduced to employees from all sections of the campus.
The dedication and special prayer offered by the team of pastors from the Thailand Adventist Mission (TAM), headed by its president Pastor Niratisai Aipan is always the highlight of every pre-session in EIS. This auspicious gathering also serves as a starting point for the school year, and what better way to prepare than to be spiritually filled and blessed? This five-day event that started on August 1-5, 2022, is also an excellent opportunity for employees and the leadership team to fellowship together.
“The uniqueness of EIS, among others, is its ability to face challenges because we have a God that loves and empowers us. We are opening a new academic year amidst a pandemic, but God has been so good to us,” Pastor Aipan said during the second day of the pre-session.
As the new school year opens, Ekamai International School is optimistic that the same God who guided them through the years will be there to shower grace, wisdom, and love on everyone.
