The new academic year was welcomed with both a challenge and an appeal – to live like Christ in the classroom, cafeteria, and everywhere as witnesses for Jesus and His amazing love. Pastor Niratisai Aipan, EIS Chairman and President of the Thailand Adventist Mission, conveyed this powerful plea to the teachers and staff of Ekamai International School during the pre-session at the Milne Auditorium on August 1, 2025. This year’s pre-session focused on Empowering Minds, Inspiring Hearts, and Serving Souls, which was also reinforced by Ajarn Saowanee Kiatyanyong, director of the EIS, when she shared about the aftereffects of a life filled with Christ, mentioning peace, joy, new hope and direction, abundant love, and transformation. The weeklong pre-school meeting opened with a dedication service attended by seven pastors from Thailand Adventist Mission who specifically prayed and consecrated the needs of the school year 2025-2026. It was followed by encouraging morning messages from various speakers, including Mr. Merle Das, Dr. Armin Kritzinger, and Ajarn Panuwat Kattiya. Dr. Shireen Bazliel, the academic principal, also facilitated a team-building activity and a fire drill to prepare everyone for the new school year.
