Ekamai International School (EIS) welcomed the 2026–2027 school year with a purposeful weeklong pre-session designed to equip its faculty and staff for a year of selfless service, renewed purpose, and deeper commitment to God and the EIS community.
Anchored on the theme “Every Classroom a Mission Field,” the August 3–7, 2026, pre-session sought to remind every member of the EIS family that education extends far beyond the classroom. Each day offered meaningful opportunities for spiritual reflection, professional renewal, and a renewed
understanding of the school’s calling to nurture lives and share God’s love.
The week began on Monday with “Reaching the Unreached,” led by Pastor Niratisai Aipan, followed by “The First Teacher,” presented by Pastor Cris Tawmonggood. Tuesday focused on “Protecting the Children,” emphasizing the sacred responsibility entrusted to educators and school employees.
Wednesday highlighted the call to “Welcome Jesus and the New Students,” encouraging the EIS community to create an environment where every student feels valued, accepted, and cared for. The week culminated on Friday with the powerful charge, “Go, Send Me,” inspiring the EIS family to embrace its mission with courage and willingness.
A significant spiritual highlight of the pre-session was the dedication and prayer of all EIS employees. Seven pastors from the Thailand Adventist Mission (TAM) joined the school community in praying over the faculty and staff, commissioning them for the challenges and opportunities of the new academic year.
More than a preparation for another school year, the pre-session served as a spiritual commissioning—a reminder that every classroom can become a mission field, every interaction an opportunity to serve, and every educator a vessel through which God’s love can be made visible.
As EIS stepped into another academic year, its faculty and staff were challenged to remain united in purpose, steadfast in service, and intentional in mission, keeping one central goal at the heart of everything they do: to bring the highest glory to God.
