Ekamai International School (EIS) observed its first Week of Prayer for the school year from August 31 to September 4, 2026, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in unified worship at the Milne Auditorium.
The daily chapel schedules were tailored to accommodate all school divisions, beginning with early morning devotionals for faculty and staff at 6:30 AM, followed by Middle School (7:25 AM), Kindergarten (8:25 AM), Elementary (9:55AM and 11:25 AM), and High School (11:25 AM).
Centered on the themes of Unity for Teachers and Staff, God Sends His Angels for Kindergarten, Rooted in Christ for Elementary School, Come and See for Middle School, and Being Human: Made for More for High School, each division engaged in scripture reading, reflection, and corporate prayer. Daily intercessory prayers were offered in support of students, educators, parents, and community stakeholders. The speakers were Pastor Dal Za Kap, Pastor Yang Fei, Chaplain Benjamin Suna, and Teacher Annelia Anito.
Held twice per academic year, the Week of Prayer reinforces EIS’s commitment to its mission as a Christ-centered educational institution dedicated to modeling and upholding Christian character.
