FUEL THE FLAME, WIN THE GAME

If there is one highly anticipated event in the EIS community, it is undoubtedly the EIS Games, popularly known as the Sports Day, annually organized by the Student Council. The most recent EIS Games held on December 14-15, 2023, once again united the faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni in cheering
and rooting for their color houses. The High School section, which usually spearheads the color banners of pink, purple, blue, and orange, came prepared for this most anticipated event of the EIS calendar.

This two-day event showcased the athletics prowess of the students from primary school, elementary school, middle school, and high school sections with a myriad of physical activities to engage in, such as basketball, volleyball, futsal, football, track and field, table tennis, tug of war, among others. The first day

opened with the ceremonial lighting of the torch by Student Council President Aaron Zhenyi Lee, the house cheers, and the performance of the drum major.

The second day was kickstarted with the most-watched cheer dance and performances from the Kindergarten teachers and the color guards. It is the
time of the school year when everyone is encouraged to participate in any physical activities that would fuel the flame of good health and the spirit of unity and camaraderie among members of the Ekamai International School family.
