PNG PRIME MINISTER VISITS EIS & ATTENDS CHURCH WORSHIP

Prime Minister Hon. James Marape of Papua New Guinea and his wife, Hon. Rachael Marape attended Sabbath worship held at the Milne Auditorium on November 19, 2022. He was welcomed by the Thailand Adventist Mission (TAM) Education Director and EIS Director Ajarn Jarun Damrongkiattiyot and the host church of the cluster worship, the Bangkok International Church of Seventh-day Adventists (BIC). Hon. Marape was one of the official delegates of the recently-concluded Asia-Paciļ¬c Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit held in the capital of Thailand.
Dr. Jan Harry Cabungcal, an award-winning neuroscientist based in Zurich who is passionate about soul-winning, was the guest speaker during this special Sabbath worship, culminating in a four-day evangelistic series entitled āFor Such A Time As This.ā About ten churches participated in the highlighted joint cluster worship, with thirteen souls baptized locally and over 500 simultaneously around Thailand. Hon. Marape and his entourage attended the worship and joined the fellowship lunch prepared by Ekamai International School and Bangkok International Church of Seventh-day Adventists.
It was indeed a joyous occasion celebrating the Sabbath with thirteen souls brought to the feet of Christ at Bangkok International Church of Seventh-day Adventists, the home church of Ekamai International School.
