BIBLE CHARACTER COMPETITION

Ekamai International School students from Kindergarten 3, Grade 1, and Grade 2 have been
allowed to indulge in the joys of Bible stories and their characters through the Bible
Character Competition organized by the Student Council. On March 14, 2023, little boys and
girls paraded their costumes, presented bravely, and shared the lessons they learned from
their chosen Bible character in the auditorium. They enthusiastically mentioned why they had
chosen the character during the interview. Strong. Brave. Beautiful. And David behaved
himself wisely in all his ways, and the Lord was with him. 1 Samuel 18:14
The Holy Bible is filled with characters, literally and figuratively. The Word of God is
accurate, and the people that dwell on its pages are real people with real lives, relationships,
joys, and problems, just like us. It presented both the strengths and weaknesses of those it
portrays. This makes the Bible’s characters practical and relatable. It is likewise educational
where we can learn from their successes and failures.
Kindergarten Principal, Mrs. Hazel Ilao, extends her warmest congratulations to all the
participants and sincerest thanks to everyone involved from the preparation until the event
