EIS Montessori is a special program provided for all sections from Kindergarten One to Kindergarten Three. It is an educational philosophy. It is based on the principle that each child is an individual and should be approached on an individual basis. A well trained Montessori Teacher will guide a child’s progress at the child’s own pace. We also believe that children have “very high sensory perception”. Therefore, it is very important to provide them with tangible tools to promote learning. Our emphasis is given to creating a “Prepared Environment”. There are five learning areas in our classroom; practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language, and social studies together with science.

The Advanced Placement Program also known as AP, allows students to participate in a college level course and earn college credit while still in high school. Secondary schools and colleges cooperate in this program to give students the opportunity to show mastery in college-level courses by taking the AP exam in May of each school year. The AP program is recognized worldwide as a leader in university preparation. Currently over 90 percent of four year universities in the United States grant credit or placement for qualifying exam grades. In addition, over 600 universities in over 60 countries also grant credit or placement to students who perform successfully including colleges and universities here in Thailand. The main advantage of taking an AP course is better preparation for college. It has been shown that students master in depth content at the college level more easily after completing AP courses in high school. Students also acquire sophisticated academic skills and increased self-confidence in preparation for college. AP classes are more challenging and stimulating, but they take more time and require more work. AP classes require energetic, involved, and motivated students. Those who are planning to further their education abroad, particularly in the U.S.A. and those who are highly self-motivated and well-disciplined in their studies. Many of our EIS students have performed well on the AP exams, and have gone on to earn university credit. We look to continue that trend this year, when our AP students sit for their exams in May.
